Open Enrollment Class
for individuals or companies with less than 4 students
What is Level 1?
Level 1 assumes you have never used Rhino -- and starts from there. Even if you have used Rhino before, there is plenty of excellent information to help you get that much better.
Minimum Requirements
Students should have basic Windows experience and be able to open files, make folders, and perform operations such as copy & paste.
Students should also have experience with content creation software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. These are 2D programs, but the experience of creating and digitally editing will serve you well in 3D.
If you have experience in any drafting program, such as AutoCAD, even better!
If you have experience in ANY 3D program, no matter how obscure or long ago, you will be in awesome shape!
What do you get?
THE BOOK. Each student will receive their own copy of the 250-page training manual. Its yours to use during class and keep!
HANDOUTS. You'll also get handouts made by Professor Dave. These cover such areas as : common problems experienced by beginners, recommended interface & workflow settings, importing and exporting tricks, the "Golden Rules" of Rhino, and other worthy topics.
ATTENTION. This class will have a second certified trainer available to answer individual questions during the lessons. The class will be more fun and move faster since the extra trainer is always available for individual questions!
Do I need to own Rhino?
No. We will have Rhino installed on all computers so there is no need to bring laptops or software. Each person gets their own computer and plenty of space.
Why use Dave?
Dave Schultze has been using Rhino for over 10 years as a professional industrial designer -- since version 1.0. He has been teaching Rhino and 3D visualization techniques at the college-level since 2001.

Dave has worked with major corporate clients such as Microsoft, Mattel, Hasbro, Target, McDonalds, and Lego.
Dave's product designs -- using Rhino -- have been manufactured and sold in the millions.
